David Gabriel Georges chose to go with Josh Heupel and Tennessee stating that it was not as fun to practice in Columbus. Ohio State has more hardware to show why their method of discipline works, and a running back prospect is finding that out the hard way.

Ryan Day understands that the standards have to be kept the same for all Buckeye athletes regardless of production or potential. This is what creates playoff caliber squads that don the scarlet and gray.

Thursday’s Results: 88% of you feel that the NIL deals for high school athletes are getting out of hand. Most of you think that the need for giving athletes their rightful share has resulted in an arms race which has started to take away from what made the sport special.

We had two favorite comments this time. The first was from the user ‘buckeyeduffer’ who said = Creating another non-academic entitlement. Just a path to professional sport without academic qualification. Money now trumps all. Just pro-sport in disguise.

The second was from the user ‘mark5610’ who said = NIL has ruined college sports. No team spirit, just pay me to play.

Senator Eric Schmitt from Missouri introduced Resolution 833. This called for the Tigers to be formally recognized as national champions for an 11-0 season in 1960. The resolution passed with unanimous consent.

Even though Mizzou had lost its season finale to Kansas with a score of 23-7. It was later discovered that Kansas had played an ineligible player and the Jayhawks were asked to forfeit that game. This made Dan Devine’s Tigers a perfect 11-0 for the year along with an Orange Bowl victory.
